Due to its ultra-high density rating, 100% closed cell chemical makeup, ultra-high polyethylene (PE) content, it is the longest lasting foam marine flooring system on the market today. Longevity & condition over time is also dependent on how well cared for it is, overall UV/weather exposure, environment, and if it is covered while not in use, etc. When cared for properly our product will easily last 8 years & beyond.
Due to the high-density rating of HydraFoam as well it being 100% Closed Cell, HydraFoam cleans very easily and is extremely stain resistant. Most of the time, all you need is some water, possibly add a deck brush, though with something a little more intense you can use an all-purpose cleaner with a deck brush. There is no need for us to sell you a branded cleaning product, as it's simply not necessary. The sooner you clean the product after an incident the better.
As with most any other flooring product and/or surface in general, our darker colors will tend to get hotter than lighter colors, although HydraFoam is engineered specifically to be a flooring product used in marine environments, so it is quite heat resistant. It will not exceed heats that are uncomfortable to touch.
It is common for our customers to take their pets along on their marine adventures. Due to its ultra-high density levels, HydraFoam is the most pet friendly/pet damage resistant PE/EVA marine flooring system on the market today. Although it is possible to incur damage given harsh circumstances with pets and/or animals. See limited warranty for further details.

HydraFoam is produced in 40” x 80” sheet sizes.
A phenomenon that takes place when focused sunlight reflects or retracts off of a nearby surface, causing HydraFoam exposure to temperatures in excess of 180°F, which is the maximum allowable for HydraFoam (Note: This is generally 15° higher than most competitors). This will cause a semi burnt and/or distorted section of the foam to occur. This can occur in areas with nearby vertical surfaces that are highly reflective in nature, including but not limited to, reflective hardware, gelcoat (particularly new gelcoat), stainless steel (refrigerators for example), glass, etc. See warranty for additional information.
